Where: Covered picnic tables east of boat parking area, Rocky Point Park
Join us at Rocky Point Park for a community picnic — an event for all ages. This was a popular event last year so we are doing it again! A chance to socialize, relax, eat, take part in our raffle draw, with some great prizes from local businesses. Balloon art, colouring, bubble blowing, stickers — for the kids! Plus a beautiful park setting with its own attractions.
Membership is not required to attend this event, and there is no charge. We do welcome new and renewed memberships ($5/year) and/or donations. We are non-profit and entirely volunteer-run. Current members will receive one raffle ticket for the draw! Additional tickets are $2 or three for $5.
A sneak peek of raffle prizes … gift certificates from the Port Moody Liquor Store, Omega Cafe, Sergios Pizza (St. Johns/Williams plaza), Aroma Restaurant (Queens St.), Pajos Fish and Chips at Rocky Point Park, hand-crafted silver bangle-style bracelet from Joye Designs (Queen’s St.), silver landscaped earrings from Kimberlina’s diamond setting and design, and more ….
Hope to see you there!
