Clarke Street tree planting along Evergreen route

Information from the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project Community Relations Team (http://www.evergreenline.gov.bc.ca/).

About 100 trees are scheduled for planting along Clarke Street adjacent to the Evergreen Line, to begin in September 2015.

The following is an approximate list as the number and species may change depending on availability and the actual planting space due to the City anticipating a future bike lane along Clarke Street.

— Black Cottonwood
— Reflection Paper Birch
— Dakota Pinnacle Birch
— Siberian Larch
— Christina Norway Spruce
— Columnar Blue Spruce
— Mountain Pine
— Tower Poplar
— Columnar Swedish Aspen
— Degroot’s Spire Cedar
— Excelsa Red Cedar
