Moody Centre Transit-Oriented Development Plan — Open House Summary

Moody Centre Transit-Oriented Development Plan — Open House Summary

Information below is from the City of Port Moody — information links included

Developing an updated plan for the Moody Centre Station Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Area is one of Council’s strategic priorities. The plan will be a 30-year roadmap for the evolution of the Station Area.

Staff have reviewed feedback from the 123 people who participated in our consultation process, and posted a summary on our project page. The success of this planning exercise relies on feedback from Port Moody residents and stakeholders – we thank you for taking the time to tell us how you feel!

In case you missed it, the display boards and presentation are also online, which summarize the project’s background review and growth scenarios that were developed for community feedback.

Over the coming months, staff will be developing a recommended Land Use Concept and draft policies for the plan. We’ll present this content at a second Open House, currently scheduled for Wed, March 1, 2017 from 7-9pm in the Galleria at City Hall. Stay tuned for more information, and sign up to receive project updates.
