St Johns Street retail changes

 

As usual, a lot is happening in Moody Centre. This past week, we became aware of changes for three retail stores on St Johns Street.

The Share Family and Community Services thrift store at St Johns and Queen streets is planning to cease retail operations due to financial pressures. This will be sad news for many as the store has operated for more than 30 years.

Owners of local award-winning business (retail store) Pinball Alley Vintage are hoping for a buyer before the family moves to Spain in a year or so.

Aroy Thai Kitchen, located in the 2800 block plaza on the north side of St Johns, will be relocating. The plaza ownership has changed hands and this may have affected lease terms and rates. The popular cafe Nicolelinas left the plaza more than one year ago. Appears Curves is closing/closed as well, maybe others …
